DESCRIPTION: Light to moderate trail lines are seen from
the left
top of the letters in LIBERTY. Letter distortions, with short trails
are seen on the OD of GOD and the W of WE. Notice that all the
trails are in the same direction. This is not seen on die deteriorated
dies, where the flow lines are radial in direction. There is also some
letter distortion and indicators of trails on the word TRUST. The
offset direction is 320º.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS –
die dot between
the I and B of LIBERTY.
Reverse is LDS – diagonal die
scratch in the top of bay # 11.
