DESCRIPTION: Dual trail lines are seen from the denticles of this

1921 Morgan dollar. While there is some variation to the actual

direction of all the trail lines present, the offset direction is listed

as 180 degrees. Notice that the trail lines are indicated by white

arrows and the die determination flow lines are indicated by

black arrows.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C “, obverse is LDS – Circular scratches

                                                 are seen through the denticles on the

                                                 obverse. These lines are especially

                                                 noticeable above the E of the motto

                                                 EPU.

                                                 Reverse is LDS – A small die gouge

                                                 is seen above the E of ONE

NOTE: This die was found by Cal Goddard of California. The designation for this die is 1921-S Morgan VAM -1L. This die

is estimated to be valued at $350.00

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the denticles above the

last letters in STATES and the O in OF. Unlike the previous die,

1921S-100DER-001T, this die has only a single line from the

denticles. The offset direction appears to be 180 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C “, obverse is LDS – none noted.       

                                                 Reverse is LDS – a die crack is seen

                                                 from the middle of the wreath on the left

                                                 side, through the I and T of UNITED and

                                                 into the denticles. A small die dot is seen

                                                 between the O and L of DOLLAR.
