DESCRIPTION: Another odd trail die that affects just a small area.

Extra thickness is seen on all the letters of LIBERTY with small trail

lines evident on the ERT of LIBERTY. The offset direction is 150º.

                                             Lincoln’s ear.

                                             Reverse is EMDS – die crack from the

                                             top of column 4 into the cornice.

               At first glance, this die does not seem that strong, however,

step deviation reaches the bottom step. There is a strong

fluting line under column 3 with strong to light step deviation

under columns 4, 5, 6 and 7. The strength of the deviation

tapers off to the right side of the reverse. Notice how the

bottom steps is humped and corresponds to the columns.

The offset direction is 190 degrees
