ATTRIBUTIONS

1. Coin condition- If the coin appears terminally ill with Verdi Gris (the green stuff) or has an excessive amount of corrosion, it will do no good to send it in.   I must photograph these coins and if there is crud obstructing the anomaly that I am shooting,  it just does not work. This also applies to the die markers, which are important with trail dies. If I can not see some markers to identify that die, then it is a waste of time to put it on the site.

2. Identify the anomaly that you are seeing - Just a small piece of paper telling me what you are seeing. This will help me isolate the anomaly and take the guessing game out of identifying what you have seen. It will also save me time.

3. In the last few months, the amount of attributions sent to me has increased dramatically. So, please do not send more than 10 coins in a package. This will ensure that everyone has a chance to have their coins examined in a timely manner.

4. The attribution fee is $3.00 per coin, plus return postage . I also recommend insurance on your package,  or at least DELIVERY CONFIRMATION. This way,  we can keep track of those coins just in case they do go astray.

5. Some of the attributions that are being sent  have very minor anomalies. Once again, I must be able to photograph the trail or wavy steps in order to list it. If I can not get a picture of the anomaly, it can not be put on the site. So please, use a bit of judgement and ask yourself "would someone else be able to see this?". If the answer is "yes" then send it in.

I thank you for following these guidelines; it will make our attributions just that much easier to do. Bob Piazza will also be accepting these types of  coins for attribution.  If you need my address or Bob's for an attribution, please contact us at the e-mail addresses below and we will send it to you.

Thanks to All,

ENCAPSULATION BY ICG

1. At this time, I would suggest that only the the top 50 trail dies (those highlighted in red and blue) be encapsulated.
2. If you are unsure what the number of the die that you are submiting is, please contact me confirmation or send your package to me and I will forward it to ICG.
3. Please do not submit an unknown or new trail die. ICG will not encapsulate it.
4. If you do have any questions, please feel free to contact me at traildies@aol.com

Thank you,
BJ Neff
