DESCRIPTION: This is one of the more unusual trail dies that

shows wide spread trail lines from numerous design elements.

Using a PUP of the EPU, we can see lines from the tops of all

the letters in that motto. The T and E of UNITED, the A, T and

E of STATES, the F of OF and the AMERI of AMERICA all show

the same directional lines. On the lower half of the die, the right

corners of the stylobate, the F of the designer’s initials, the N

and T of CENT and even the N and E of ONE have faint trails

and distortion. Also showing the same directional lines are the

tops of thee columns and the cornice. The offset direction for

this die is 030 degrees.
