DESCRIPTION: A single trail line is seen on the top left corner

Y in LIBERTY. Also seen are trail lines from the tops of the
letters of IN. While this is a minor trail die,
it is important for it
extends the time line of trail dies found in both mints. This is the
first found
from the Denver mint for this year. The offset direction
is
300 degrees.
DIE MARKERS: Stage “A”, obverse is LEDS –
none noted.
Reverse is LEDS- a light die crack is
seen between the US of PLURIBUS.
Two die cracks, on below the other, is
seen through the 09 of the 1809 date.

is similar
to 2009D-1DEO-001T, the offset direction is slightly
different. This can be seen by comparing the two pictures of the
different dies. The offset direction is 330 degrees

This is the first time trail lines have been encountered
on an incused
design
element. This feature adds further credence that trails / wavy
steps are not related to a doubled die or created
by polishing of the die.
The offset
direction is 260 degrees.
