DESCRIPTION: This is a dual directional trail die. Trail lines are seen from the date, the mint mark and the word LIBERTY. The offset directions are 000° and 180°.

Reverse is LDS – a small die crack is seen from the rim into the field on the left side of the P in PLURIBS. Curved die scratches are seen above the RICA of AMERICA.

DESCRIPTION: Trails are seen from the bottom of both 9 digits in the date and the star between LIBERTY and the date. The offset direction is 000°. This die also has a minor reverse trail die.

Reverse is LDS – die damage is seen on the lower left of the U in UNITED.
