DESCRIPTION: Heavy trails from Lincoln’s beard and bow tie, with a faint trail seen from the bottom terminus of the 2 digit in the date. The offset direction is 110 degrees. This die was found by Jimmy Ehrhart of Florida.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – metal flow lines near the rim. Short, faint trail line is seen from the 2 digit.

Reverse is EDS – die dot under the leg of the R in AMERICA.

DESCRIPTION: light to moderate from Lincoln’s beard and bow tie, with stronger trails seen on the 199 of the date. Lighter trails can be seen from the base of the letters ERTY of LIBERTY.  The offset direction is approximately 100 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, Obverse is MDS – A small die gouge is seen next to the N of IN.  Die scratches run NW-SE on the neck.

Reverse is MDS – Die scratches on the bottom of memorial bays 4, 5 and 7.  A die gouge is seen to the SE of the last dot in the motto.
