Reverse is MDS – die chip in the lower part of column # 3. Die chip in the cornice above column 4. Die scratch on the upper roof edge below the S of PLURIBUS.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS, two small die gouges above the button hole. Die gouge behind Lincoln’s head.

DESCRIPTION: Moderate to strong fluting line extension, into the stylobate, is seen under columns 3, 10, 11 and 12. Very strong step deviation under columns 4 through 9. Light step deviation is under the right post.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – die gouge on Lincoln’s forehead. Die gouge to the right of the 3 digit in the date, next to the rim.

Reverse is LDS – die scratch in the O of ONE.
