DESCRIPTION: Light trail lines from the lower left corners of the letters in LIBERTY. The offset direction appears to be 190º. This die was found by Bill Slaughter of Arkansas.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – none noted.

Reverse is LDS – three small die gouges around the T of UNITED. Two die gouges around the last A of America.

DESCRIPTION: Moderate trail lines are seen from the bottom left corners of the letters in LIBERTY. The offset direction is 200 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is EMDS – a die dot is seen in the field above the TY of LIBERTY.

Reverse is LDS – diagonal die scratches are seen through the word CENT.

DESCRIPTION: Trails can be seen from the lower portions of the date and mintmark with light ramped design extension west of LIBERTY. This die was found by Alex Tuel Photos are by Jason Cuvelier.

DIE MAKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – a crescent shaped gouge on the shoulder.

Reverse is MDS – Cluster of gouges above the designer’s initials and a die gouge below memorial east of T of CENT.

DESCRIPTION: Very light trail lines are seen from the right top of the letters OD of GOD and the word WE. The offset direction is 030º.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B“, obverse is MDS – a die gouge is seen below the L of LIBERTY.

Reverse is MDS – a die gouge is seen below the last A of AMERICA.
