NOTE: Die was found by Steven Bingham of Missouri.

DESCRIPTION: Light trails from the left top corners of the letters in LIBERTY. The offset direction is 340º.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – die gouge under the N of IN.

Reverse is MDS – die scratches, some which are heavy, are seen in in bays 1 and 2.

NOTE: This die was found by Joshua Haynes of Alabama.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the top left corners of the letters in LIBERTY. The offset direction is 350º. This die is similar to 1996P-1DEO-002T; however, the die markers are different.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – small die scratch on the upper loop of the first 9.

Reverse is LDS – die gouge on the right corner of the Memorial building.

NOTE: This die was found by Louis Schaeffer of Maryland.

DESCRIPTION: Moderate trail lines are seen from the bottom of all the letters in LIBERTY. The offset direction is 200 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – none noted.

Reverse is MDS – die dot just above the left side of the roof.

NOTE: This die was found by Joshua Haynes.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines, with extra thickness, are seen on all the letter of IGWT. The often heavy metal flow lines seen on some of the letters is the result of pre-mature die deterioration doubling. The offset direction is 000 degrees. This die is similar to 1995P-1DEO-004T.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is LMDS – small die dot well below the T in LIBERTY

Reverse is LMDS – die scrapes are seen from the T of UNITED into bay 1 and from the right side base into the T of CENT.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen on WE and TRUST of TRUST. The late die state of this coin maybe hiding other trail lines. The offset direction is 060 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – die gouge in the W of WE. Small die dot in the lower part of the loop in the second nine of the date

Reverse is LDS – small die gouge is seen by the U of UNITED

NOTE: This die was found by Bill Slaughter.

DESCRIPTION: Moderate trail lines are seen from the bottom left corners of the letters in LIBERTY. Also seen are light trail lines on the first three digits of the date. The offset direction is 210 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LMDS – heavy die scratch on the I of IN. Small die gouge over the N of IN. Two die dots over the E of LIBERTY.

Reverse is LMDS – none noted.

NOTE: This die was found by William Glenn of Florida.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the bottom right corners of the letters in LIBERTY. The offset direction is 150 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – none noted.

Reverse is LDS – heavy metal flow lines are seen below the U of UNITED to the left base line. Die damage is seen in the left crotch of the N in ONE.

seen just above the M of UNUM.
