DESCRIPTION: A multiple directions trails die that show trails from the tops of the TR of TRUST, and protruding from the bottom of the LIBE of LIBERTY.  The offset directions are 330 and 190 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, Obverse is MDS – die scratches run south into the field from TRUST

Reverse is MDS – die gouges around CENT.  N-S die scratches through the first 4 memorial bays. A heavier die scratch above the N of ONE.

NOTE: This die was found by Bob Piazza of Florida.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the tops of the letters RUST of TRUST. The offset direction is 050 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “A”, obverse is EDS – none noted.

Reverse is MDS – Vertical die scratching is seen in all bays. Remnants of a die clash is seen in bay 8.

DESCRIPTION: Light trail lines are seen from the left corners of the letters in LIBERTY. Also seen are light trail lines from the digits in the date and the mint mark. This is a dual directional trail die with offset directions of 270 and 120 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – a die gouge is seen in the field below the last T of TRUST.

Reverse is MDS – a die gouge is seen in the field below the first A of AMERICA.
