DESCRIPTION: Light trail lines are seen on the top left corners of the letters IBER of LIBERTY. The offset direction is 330º.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – die gouge under the Y of LIBERTY.

Reverse is MDS – die gouge on the lower right leg of the N in CENT.

NOTE: This die was found by Joshua Haynes of Alabama.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the bottom of the letters LIBE of LIBERTY. The offset direction is 190°.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C“, obverse is LDS – a small die gouge is seen to the left of the mintmark. Numerous, small die gouges are seen in and around the E of LIBERTY. A die gouge is seen to the right of the last T in TRUST.

Reverse is LDS – a die gouge is seen to the bottom left of the L in PLURIBUS. A small die gouge is sen to the right of the F of the designer’s initials. A die chip is seen mid way in column 2.
