DESCRIPTION: A combination trail and wavy step die. Trail lines are seen on the lower left corners of the letters in STATES and the EPU. Also seen is step deviation under columns 5, 6, 7 8 and 9. The offset direction is 210 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – none noted.

Reverse is MDS – die damage is seen on the bottom of bay 11. Die scratching is seen through ERCIA of AMERICA.

DESCRIPTION: Moderate step deviation is seen under columns 5, 6, 7 and 8. The offset direction is 180 degrees

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – A die dot is seen over the B of LIBERTY.

Reverse is LDS – a die crack is seen from the top of the E to the N of CENT.

DESCRIPTION: Light step deviation is seen below columns 5, 6 and 7. The offset direction is 190 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – a small die gouge can be seen on the left side of the 4 digit of the date.

Reverse is LDS – two rim dents are seen above the first T of STATES.

DESCRIPTION: Very light step deviation is seen under columns 5, 6 and 7. The offset direction is 180 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C “, obverse is LDS – none noted.

Reverse is LDS – a die crack is seen from the top of column 4. Die dots are seen on the left side of columns 5 and6. A die gouge is seen just to the right of the R in AMERICA.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the tops of the letters in the EPU, the right side cornice and the tops of the columns on the right side of the Memorial building. The offset direction is 030 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B“, obverse is MDS – none noted

Reverse is MDS – a die gouge is seen above the left corner stylobate. Two smaller die gouges are located around the C of AMERICA.
