DESCRIPTION: Moderate trail lines from the left upper corners of the letters in LIBERTY. Light trail lines from the D in GOD and from the letters in WE. Light, faint trail lines from the UST of TRUST. The offset direction is 340 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – none observed.

Reverse is MDS – small die dot over the R in AMERICA.

DESCRIPTION: Moderate trail lines can be seen from the letters in “GOD WE TRUST”. Slight indication of distortion can be seen on the BER of LIBERTY. The date also has faint trail lines from the first three digits. All these trail lines have an offset direction of 010 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “A”, obverse is LEDS – none noted.

Reverse is LEDS – none noted.

DESCRIPTION: Moderate, isolated trails are seen from WE and the first T in TRUST. The offset direction is 090 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – small die dots around the 2 digit of the date.

Reverse is MDS – heavy die scratching is seen in the lower areas of bays1 and 2.

DESCRIPTION: A trail lines are seen from the O and D of GOD. Ramped, extra thickness is seen on the left side of the letters in LIBERTY. The offset direction is 270 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – none noted.

Reverse is LDS – a die crack is seen from the rim to up into the C of CENT.

A very large die chip is seen on the left side of column 2.

DESCRIPTION: Light trail lines and extra thickness in the same direction is seen on the letters of LIBERTY. The offset direction is 280 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B “, obverse is MDS – three small die dots are see under the B of LIBERTY.

Reverse is MDS – a die scratch is seen on the lower part of the E in ONE

DESCRIPTION:  Trail lines are seen from the bottom left corners of the letters in LIBERTY. The offset direction is 240º.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B“, obverse is MDS – a die crack is seen in Lincoln’s nose.

Reverse is MDS – a small die gouge is seen under the first right block in the Memorial building base line.
