DIE MRKERS: Stage “A”, obverse is EDS – light die scratching is seen below Lincoln’s chin and above the 2 digit of the date.

Reverse is EDS – none noted.

NOTE: This die was found by Steven Bernatowicz of New Jersey.

DESCRIPTION: Light trail lines are seen from the bottom left corners of the IBERTY of LIBERTY. The offset direction is 200 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “A “, obverse is EDS – a die crack is seen from the bridge of Lincoln’s nose up into his forehead.

Reverse is EDS – a small die crack is through the JL.

Stage “B”, obverse is EMDS – the die crack has lengthened and now has a die chip above Lincoln’s eye.

Reverse is EMDS – the die crack through the JL has lengthened and is now seen from the log cabin to the rim.

DESCRIPTION:  Light trail lines can be seen from the bottom left corners of the letters in LIBERTY. The offset direction is 190 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “A “, obverse is EDS – a small die chip can be seen in Lincoln’s neck.

Reverse is EDS – a very small die gouge is seen in the field between the right corner of the cabin and UNITED.

DESCRIPTION: Trails are seen from LIBERT of LIBERTY; offset direction is 45 degrees.

DIE MAKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – die scratches above LIBERTY and through date (see photos)

Reverse is MDS – diagonal scratches through UNITED STATES (see photos)

Reverse is LDS – a die crack is seen from the lower right corner of the cabim to the rim.
