DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the bottom of the digits in the date.  The offset direction is 210°.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B “, obverse is MDS – none noted

Reverse is MDS – a die crack is seen from the top of the shield. Another die crack is seen from the right top of the scroll.

DESCRIPTION: Faint trail lines are seen from the word GOD and WE. Also see is a trail line from the top lock of Lincoln’s hair. The offset direction is 070°.

 

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B “, obverse is MDS – a die crack is seen in Lincoln’s hair. A die gouge is seen in the field above the L of LIBERTY.

Reverse is MDS – a die dot is seen in the right end of the scroll.

DESCRIPTION:  Faint trail lines are seen from the word WE and the top lock of Lincoln’s hair. The offset direction is 080°.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B “, obverse is MDS – a small die dot is seen to the right of the E in LIBERTY

Reverse is MDS – a die crack is seen on the top of the shield. Another die crack is seen on the top left corner of the shield.

DESCRIPTION: Light trail lines are seen from the LBE of LIBERTY. The offset direction is 350°.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C “, obverse is LDS – a large die crack is seen in Lincoln’s head

Reverse is LDS – die cracks are seen from the left and middle upper points of the shield.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the top right corners of the letters in LIBERTY. The offset direction is 030°.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B “, obverse is MDS – a small die dent is seen below the W in WE

Reverse is MDS – a small die gouge is seen in between the last A in AMERICA and the shield.

NOTE: This die was found by Albert Neils.

DESCRIPTION: This is a minimal trail die with just two trail lines from the E of WE. The offset direction is 150°.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen on the top left corners of the letters BERTY of LIBERTY. The offset direction is 330°.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C “, obverse is LDS – there are two small die chips in Lincoln’s head under the W of WE

Reverse is LDS – a die crack is seen from the top middle of the shield, through the E of STATES and onto the rim.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the E of WE, the first T in TRUST and part of Lincoln’s hair. The offset direction is 090°.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B “, obverse is MDS – none noted

Reverse is MDS – this die is mated with 2010P-1DER-010T. There is a die chip on the left upper rim of the shield. There is a die scratch on the E of UNITED and a small die gouge in the T of UNITED.

 NOTE: This die was found by Jason Dick.

 

2010P-1DEO-010T                  200°

DESCRIPTION: Trails can be seen from bottom of the date (2010), offset direction is 200 degrees. This die is paired with 1DER-011T with light trails from MERI in AMERICA and slightly the middle bar in the F of OF offset direction is 120 degrees.

DIE MAKERS: Stage “A”, obverse is EDS – Very light abrasion marks are in front of Lincoln’s mouth. Reverse is EDS – a small group of gouges can be found near the designer’s initials (LB).
