DESCRIPTION: Light trails can be seen from the tops of the letters of the digits in the date. The offset direction of the trail lines are 350 degrees.

DIE MAKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – Diagonal die scratches through the bow-tie. Die crack on forehead; small gouge SW of the 2nd T of TRUST.

Reverse is MDS – Gouges found on both sides of the T in CENT; small gouge right most shield stripe.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the bottom of the two one digits in the date and the RTY of LIBERTY. The offset direction is 180°.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B “, obverse is MDS – none noted.

Reverse is MDS – a die dent is seen from the F of the word OF. Two rim nicks are seen just opposite of the O in ONE.

DESCRIPTION: This is a dual directional trail die with trail lines seen on the letters BERT of LIBERTY. The offset directions are 000º and 180º.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B “, obverse is MDS – a die crack is seen from the lower right corner of Lincoln’s bust to the rim.

Reverse is MDS – a die chip is seen on the left edge of the shield.

DESCRIPTION: Trails can be seen on the underside of LIBERTY; strongest at Y getting weaker toward the I. The off-set direction is 160 degrees.

DIE MAKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – small gouge below 20 in date

Reverse is MDS – crack and die break on upper left shield edge.

DESCRIPTION: This is a dual trail die. The first set is from the bottom of the letters IBER of LIBERTY and have an offset direction of 180º. The second set of trail lines can be seen from the top of the 1 digits in the date. They have an offset direction of 010º.

Reverse is MDS – a small die chip can be seen on the left upper edge of the shield.

DESCRIPTION: Trail lines are seen from the top left corners of the letters in LIBERTY. The offset direction is 320º.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “B“, obverse is MDS – a small metal flow line is seen to the light of the O in GOD.

Reverse is MDS – a very small die chip is seen in the left upper edge of the shield.

DIE MAKERS: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – gouge in-between WE TRUST, die scratches in front of Lincoln’s portrait, bowtie and date.

Reverse is MDS – die crack along top of left shield going into the top right side.
