This is a very nice trails die that shows significant trails on MERI of AMERICA with an offset direction of 330 degrees.  This is the first proof reverse trails die reported.  This die was found by Bob Piazza of Florida.

Although rather minor, this die shows the trails on STA of STATES with an offset direction of 030 degrees.  This die was found by Bob Piazza of Florida.

 

2000S-1DER-001WS                                    190°

DESCRIPTION: Sharp, moderate fluting line extension is seen entering into the stylobate under columns 2, 3, 11 and 12. Moderate, sharp step deviation is seen under columns 5, 6, 7 and 8. The offset direction is 190 degrees.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “A”, obverse is EDS – none noted.

Reverse is EDS – doubling is seen on the left side bay floors, the left URN and the left edge of the cornice.
