DESCRIPTION: Trails are found all of CENT, lower portions of ITED in UNITED, upper areas of TES in STATES, EPU, on ICA of AMERICA, the right corner of the memorial, the bottom of columns 2 through 11 and the right stylobate, bushes and designer’s initials. This die also has trails on LIBERTY and is listed as 1995P-1DEO-011T.

Reverse is EMDS – none observed.

DESCRIPTION: This is a dual directional trail die. The first set, which has an offset direction of 330º (indicated by white arrows) is seen on the letters of the motto EPU, the tops of the columns (fading off to the right), the top of Lincoln’s statue and the letters TES of STATES. The second set of trail lines, which have an offset direction of 040º, can also be seen on the letters of the motto EPU, the tops of the columns (fading off to the left), the right corners of the roof and cornice of the Memorial building, the right corners of the stylobate and the letters AMERI of AMERICA. This reverse trail die is coupled with 1995P-1DEO-012T and is considered a major trail die.

Reverse is LDS – die damage can be seen to the bottom left and right of the T in UNITED.

DIE MARKERS: Stage “C“, obverse is LDS – a die scratch is seen on the shoulder of Lincoln.

Reverse is LDS – a die chip with a die crack is seen on the left urn. A die clash is present.
