1998P – 1DER; 001 – 010 Files

1998P-1DER-001WST                   000°, 180°

DESCRIPTION: Light fluting line extension, into the stylobate, under column 3. Light step deviation under columns 6, 7 and 8. This is a combination wavy step trail die. There is light extension of the scrolling on top of the cornice with an offset direction of 000 degrees. Notice the distorted lops of the letters, E, P, R and B in EPU. Also distorted are the tops of the E and last T in STATES.

This is a moderate die state coin, more than likely MDS and it is probably that the faint extension lines from the scroll work will fade as the die age progresses.
